Bardi Jawi Gaarra Marine Park in the Kimberley is co‑designed and jointly managed by the Bardi and Jawi Traditional Owners and the Government of Western Australia. Covering over 204,000 ha of Sea Country, it protects reefs, intertidal systems and culturally significant areas while supporting Indigenous stewardship, biodiversity conservation and cultural practices.
